Explain the first visit before the booking link

A new customer may need to understand vaccination requirements, a temperament assessment and what to bring before choosing a date. If those details sit only inside a client portal, the public site cannot help someone decide what to do next. A first-visit guide gives a clear preparation path and links to the business’s actual process.

Every requirement must come from your operating policy. We do not invent vaccine schedules, medical advice or eligibility decisions. Your team approves wording about records, assessment, age restrictions and acceptance. The website can explain how documents are supplied through a supported system without collecting unnecessary pet or owner information in a general enquiry.

Common information gaps in pet-care sites

Daycare, boarding and grooming can be described with similar language even though customers need different preparation. A boarding customer asks about overnight arrangements and collection; a daycare customer asks about attendance and assessment. Clear service sections help each visitor find the right requirements.

Rates may appear in a photograph, an old social post or a portal the visitor cannot enter yet. A readable rates table can show current units, such as a day, night or grooming starting price. Your business supplies the amounts, conditions and effective dates. We do not assume every animal or service fits a single rate.

A booking button can lead to unfamiliar software without explanation. A short handoff tells visitors they are leaving the public website for your existing booking/client portal. It can distinguish new-client registration from returning-client booking and point to help if the account is not ready.

Opening hours and drop-off windows are another common source of confusion. Public hours, assessment appointments, collection cutoffs and holiday changes need precise labels. Display facts your team can maintain, with a clear route for questions rather than an invented promise of round-the-clock response.

What the public website can include

The agreed pages can cover services and rates, first-visit preparation and contact/location information. Mobile-first sections show daycare, boarding or grooming in the terms your customers use. A rate table, approved vaccination guidance, hours and drop-off information reduce the amount of essential material hidden in downloads.

We work alongside your existing booking software, not replace it. The public website can link to registration, booking and the client portal with explanatory labels. An integration is separately scoped only after reviewing supported options, permissions and provider costs. Booking records and operational decisions stay in the appropriate business system.

A photo gallery should show approved spaces and representative activities with accurate descriptions. Genuine review highlights can support the explanation when permissions are in place. Avoid suggesting that a photographed dog, facility or treatment belongs to your business when it does not. Independent concepts are examples of interface direction, not client case studies.

Keep general enquiries separate from care decisions

The included enquiry form can ask what service the owner is interested in and provide room for a question. It should not approve a dog for group play, confirm boarding availability or offer veterinary advice. A staff member reviews the enquiry and explains the next steps under your actual policy.

If an AI missed-call receptionist is scoped, callers are told they are speaking with an AI assistant. The assistant can collect contact details and the reason for calling, then send a summary. It cannot make medical judgements or binding quotes. Urgent concerns should be directed to the appropriate emergency number through an approved instruction, not handled as ordinary booking requests.

Keeping practical facts current

Changes to rates, hours and requirements should have one approved source. Included minor-edit time can be used for supplied updates within the plan allowance. New service pages, redesigns and custom development remain separate. Agree who sends changes and who confirms that policy wording is current.

Review request automation can ask customers after completed services, without filtering out unhappy customers or offering incentives. Email is the initial route; SMS depends on carrier registration and customer permission. Each text needs an opt-out. Request and click counts are process information, not evidence that a particular number of positive reviews will appear.

From concept to an approved public site

We build a first draft for your review, then you approve the Launch design and pay 50%. We finish the agreed website using your current content; the other 50% is due before launch. A free concept request is reviewed for fit and does not commit either party to a project or billing.

The first-draft target is three business days once required content, access and the brief are ready. Final launch depends on agreed scope and timely feedback. Existing portal access, approved requirements and rate information are common prerequisites. Website Plan uses $299 setup at kickoff and $149/month from launch rather than requiring its entire minimum term upfront.

Choose a website plan

Launch: $899 one-time, 50% after design approval and 50% before launch. Three months of Website Care from production launch, then $69/month with recorded agreement or $690/year only with express annual selection. Opt out at kickoff. Website Plan: $299 setup plus $149/month, 12 paid monthly instalments, $2,087 minimum before applicable taxes and approved extras. Care is included.

Frequently asked questions

Will you replace our booking software?

No. We work alongside it, with a clear public handoff to registration, booking and the client portal. Custom integration is separately scoped.

Can you show vaccination requirements?

Yes, using the current requirements your business approves. We do not provide veterinary advice or invent eligibility rules.

Can the site confirm boarding availability?

The informational form collects an enquiry. Confirmed availability belongs in your existing booking system or a separately scoped integration.

How should rates be shown?

Use approved service units and conditions in a mobile-readable table. Explain starting prices and exceptions accurately.

Can new clients register from the website?

We can link to your supported new-client registration route and explain the next step. A custom account system is separate software scope.

Who updates hours and rates?

You supply and approve changes. Included care offers 30 minutes of minor edits monthly on Launch or 60 total on Website Plan; unused minutes do not roll over.

Who owns the site?

You own the domain and supplied content. Launch code transfers after full payment; Website Plan after 12 paid months or an agreed remaining-balance buyout.
